My car was stolen.

What can I say? Thank goodness I'm 25 and can now rent a car. Thank goodness my taxi took me to the library on time so that I could open up the library. Thank goodness that I'd rather have an insurance check for the value of the car, than the car itself (though I know it won't necessarily work out that way).

But, ah. This is one of those situations where it's not so easy to find a silver lining.

Ohhh suckity. Come ye back, ye Canuck librarian, come ye back to Montreal. Or Victoria. Or wherever. We do steal cars, but you don't need them as badly.
