So let's say you were going to a committee meeting that was "formal dress desired, not required," and you don't have any formal dress but you have a sudden desire to at least be... creative. And you don't get off work until Hot Topic is closed, but you can go to Target (I suck, I go to Target. But it's not Wal-Mart. I go to Target because I work nights).

Also, you have to make berry gratin for the committee meeting.

Is it possible to accessorize your gothbrarian outfit (black pants, black blouse) to look Victorian-Elegant-Gothic and AWESOME?

Actually, Target has this new line of clothes--they've just brought out fall stuff--that was quirky and interesting enough to be brought up in steamfashion. I drooled over a couple things there last week, but you have to be far more slender than I to fit in any of it.
