owlectomyNot having a car, in this city, means that I can't stay out past four tonight.
But--more than that--it means that other people won't understand that I can't stay out past four. It means that they are off doing their own thing when we agreed to stay at school to finish the group project and meet up sometime during the afternoon. It means that maybe I'm not going to have time after all to drop by the sewing store and get some needed supplies tonight (and of course they're closed Sunday).
Aw, to heck with it. They invented the internet so I wouldn't have to stay at school so late just to do group projects. I'm going home when I want to go home.
