Thog's Master Class...
19/2/04 09:56So at SF conventions, and in a zine called the Ansible which I think is online here, there's a column/panel called Thog's Master Class which revels in the sheer badness of bad writing. Mostly things that are unintentionally funny through some oddness of wording, or that just make you go "Huh?"
"At least," you think, "I will never write anything THAT bad."
Doing revisions, I found:
I poked at the food...and watched the conversation float around me.
And my beta reader didn't catch this. Perhaps it doesn't rise to the unintentionally funny, but it did make me go "Huh?"
