So, I think it's probably a bad idea to translate an entire chapter of Fujimoto Yukari's book of feminist manga criticism for the WisCon panel on gender-boundary-crossing in anime and manga.

Nevertheless, I am doing so! For now unless something more urgent comes up!

That's the idea! ... I may post it under access-lock or password for the sake of intellectual property rights, but I hopefully will post it.

However, it is mostly about manga from the 70s that are incredibly obscure in this hemisphere, so I'm not sure it's as interesting as you imagine!

Maybe. IDK, I read literary criticism about poetry/books I've never read, and it works out okay. Sometimes the crit is WAY better than source material anyway (i.e., I generally loathe all poetry).

PLUS, if there's cool shit, I can try and look for some of it in used shops when I go to Japan!
