13/3/10 10:31Just so we're clear on this, it would be a BAD idea for me to use up all the rest of my vacation time to take a whirlwind trip to Japan and visit the old silk filature that's been preserved as a heritage site. For research.
And I am more likely to fix my book by actually fixing my book.
ETA Oh, gosh, airfare is cheaper than I thought it was. Now I actually have to think about it. (Never mind that getting out to Tomioka and then Takarazuka would add up to Not So Cheap...)

13/3/10 22:32 (UTC)Though on second thought if I'm going to be hanging around Tokyo I could always go to the Takarazuka theatre there if I need to save time and money. However, the Osaka one is having the Scarlet Pimpernel in April, whereas the Tokyo one is having something about the founder of the Red Cross. I'm sure it would not be as boring as it sounds, but I'd have to go with the Scarlet Pimpernel.

14/3/10 02:11 (UTC)I'm thinking about this way too much for something that continues to be a bad idea.
