Attempting progress again

owlectomyI've been all over the city trying to return the bike rack I got, buy another one, and put it up. I'm 80% or 50% successful on that, depending whether I can fix it with a new set of Allen keys. (I used a stud finder! I found a stud! How great am I? Being an adult is EXCITING.)
Yesterday I woke up at 4:00, took two subways and a bus out to Sheepshead Bay for a meeting, wandered around until I found the subway, got some lunch and a paperback, arrived home mid-afternoon, set back out again with the bike rack I was trying to return, accomplished that after a while, wandered around, got back home early in the evening...and promptly fell dead asleep. No writing accomplished.
And now it's 9:00, almost. I will accomplish something tonight!
