1) Half-price Dansko Mary Janes acquired online. I procrastinated. It's a gamble whether they'll arrive in time for the party I acquired them for (I have ZERO suitable shoes, which is to say that I have one pair of men's hiking sneakers and that's it), but half-price Dansko Mary Janes are a good thing even if they arrive a couple days late.

2) I can make a fist! Not without some pain and I wouldn't want to try punching someone, but it is recognizably a fist rather than a weak sort of claw shape. Dr. appointment Friday, and hopefully won't have to see him again.

Most women get the lion's share of interesting shoe designs. Female yetis, men who like to wear women's shoes, and me, have a lot more trouble. Which is why I own exactly one pair of shoes, and they're men's shoes.

For interesting men's shoes, there's Fluevog (http://www.fluevog.com), and I intend to get a pair of men's shoes from them if I ever have that much money to fritter away.
