From a press release about the King Dork movie, which could be good or not; it's the director of Four Christmases and The King of Kong. The sentence is badly written to begin with; Tom Henderson actually finds clues to the hazy circumstances under which his father died while combing through some books. The father did not die while combing through some books, and even if you rearrange the clauses it sounds weird to say that he attempts to uncover the truth about his late father while combing through some books -- it's only by accident that while combing through the books he discovers something's up.

Line edits proceed apace. A very slow pace (though I'm still technically on track if I do 15 pages on work days and 20 on weekends). Tests at the hospital on Fri. morning followed by work, and going out tonight with family, so I'm dubious about my prospects but if I have to do a weekend of hermitage, so be it.

But would it not make for an interesting film if the father did die while combing through some books, thus making for hazy circumstances which our protagonist must then attempt to uncover?

I'm intrigued.
