An Auspicious Start To The Day

Was headachey and useless for all of Sunday afternoon; went to sleep finally, badly, and up again at six. Took some Advil and hunted around for my glasses.

Which I finally found when I put my hand on my bed for support, and shifted my weight to that hand, and heard the snap of my glasses which happened to be under a T-shirt.

Superglue did not work. Tape did not work. So far I'm having the most luck with balancing one half of my glasses on my face while closing the other eye, but I think this calls for an emergency trip to LensCrafters even if it means taking half a day off work.

Ugh. This happened to my when I was so broke I decided I would just do without glasses, and wear only my contacts (of which I had a couple pairs remaining), until I got a job.
