owlectomyAccomplished, in spite of everything:
-20 small boxes bought. I figure I'll fill those up and then go out for more if I need to.
-Packed 2 boxes with books, thus emptying half a bookcase.
-Called to have my electricity and my internet turned on (the internet people can come out the day after I move in, to my great delight.)
Maybe this time I can manage to move without locking myself out of my apartment while it's raining and the cats are unfed and I don't have my cell phone with me. That would be awesome.
