So, the verdict is:

- I do have hyperparathyroidism.

- However, my calcium is normal, and CAT scan and sestamibi scan failed to turn up a tumor, so we're going to forego surgery for now and do more bloodwork in 6-9 months.

- Because my calcium is normal, my fracture probably didn't have anything to do with my parathyroid.

- So, we're back to 'benign bone tumor,' I guess. We're also back to hand surgery, I guess. Endocrine surgeon will get back in touch with hand surgeon and we'll see what happens from there.

- Have not ruled out bunnies.

Probably it's just hyperparathyroidism at a low enough level that I don't have any symptoms yet, an itty bitty tumor that doesn't show up on tests. But I will be not best pleased if they make me do another CAT scan in six months.
