I am aware that I'm asking the impossible, but a Merlin that had more in common with actual medieval England than with Dawson's Creek would be a great deal more interesting.
I watch so little tv I don't have time for that. Not trying to sound like a tv snob or anything... we've been spending months and months trying to work through "ashes to ashes", which is only 3 seasons of 8 episodes a season long. So really, I have to super like something to watch it. Or really really awful and then I watch it with friends and possibly drink. :)
But ahistorical stuff really bothers me. I mean, if it's obviously generic fantasy that's different, or if anachronistic stuff is in there on purpose for whatever reason... you know. But yeah.
