Work I have actually done today, not including desk-reference stuff:

-Summer programming statistics
-October booktalking bookmarks ("Thrills and Chills for Teens")
-Twilight party flyer
-Programming calendar for December-February
-Started work on my new books presentation

...It's amazing how much work I can get done when I have phone calls to avoid and e-mails I should be answering.

And I got a twilight poster... and plastic fangs... "The irony is, I hate the books. I think they're absolutely terrible," I told the head of YA services. And then she drew my name in a raffle for a twilight tote bag. I HAVE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS MY EXCITEMENT.
