owlectomyThis weekend I became a rock immortal and knitted a bunch on my Doctor Who scarf, so, it was a good nerdy weekend.
And I sure did need that in light of next weekend being reserved for the long frightening trip through Brooklyn real estate. (I mean, it might not turn out to be long and frightening, but I wouldn't place any bets.)
It's hard to say right now whether all the nice nice places on Craigslist actually are nice nice, or have some massive gaping flaw despite the renovated kitchens.
I admit, I'm a total sucker for a nice kitchen.
Nine months ago I was depending on my sister's expertise in helping me sort through the different neighborhoods. Now I'm the one providing that expertise - such as it is - to my probable future roommate. That's an odd feeling. But I'm starting to feel as if I know Brooklyn after all...
