owlectomyPeople had warned me time and time again that Skin Hunger just drops off at the end - until the next book, presumably - but I was only mildly annoyed by that until, just now, I thought to myself, "Well, maybe I'll read some more of that book, since I was close to the ending and I want to see how it ends..."
Nope; finished it on the subway hours ago, and no book 2 until somewhere in 2009.
I do hope my landlord realizes that I will continue to hack the thermostat if she prevents me from keeping the temperature at something livable (where 'hack' means popping the top off the thermostat and removing the screw that keeps the temperature set somewhere between 'Arctic Springtime' and 'I Hate You All.')
