Good news; I've just heard from someone who has the ARC of the second volume of Octavian Nothing. And it has a release date of October, which is rather distant, but - I was starting to worry that M.T. Anderson had burned himself out on his own brilliance, or that the "volume 1" was just a metafictional conceit for a story that would never be resolved.

I note that the next Christopher Paolini and Stephenie Meyer will also be out this fall, which will make a lot of people happy. AND the "Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist" movie is coming out in October.
