owlectomyIt's been a weekend of good omens and happy coincidences ever since we walked straight into a 50-percent-off sale at Kinokuniya. (Like? There was a novel I wanted, and I forgot who wrote it. And then while I was doing the 'look casually through all the aisles to figure out the one thing I need and don't yet have' thing, there it was.)
Except for the part where I forgot my Metrocard in my other pants and we had to walk back to the apartment. And the part where we quested to find a crochet hook and did not succeed (yet). And the part where we walked five or six miles and now my legs are refusing to move. But basically, I've been feeling like a rock star. A rock star who got tea and fondue and cheesecake.
And now: SNOW!!
Hurrah.
