owlectomy: A squashed panda sewing a squashed panda (happy)

So... one of the other sources of stress in my life is that I have had a mouse in my house. And I can tell stories about Mr. Cow and Mr. Chicken and Mr. Pig and go home and eat them (hi cognitive dissonance!) but I draw the line at small furry things. But I was getting anxious, because I couldn't get anything in my humane trap for a whole week... until last night, when I baited it with a big piece of molding cheddar and finally caught Remy (because what else am I going to name the mouse in my kitchen?). Set him free at Lake Johnson this morning. Hopefully far enough away that he picks some other kitchen next time.

Time to bait the trap again, see if there's more than one.

(But you know? As much as I joke about being a horrible housekeeper, I've been doing good these past couple weeks. Really! It's not that my kitchen is horribly unsanitary.)
