Harry Potter #7 is at the Library Administration Building. Under lock and key and perhaps warding spells. I had every bit of faith in the library system to get mine to me by Saturday morning, but it's reassuring to know they're there.
Not such a good day otherwise. I was dividing my time between laying down the law at the computers and helping a too-long line of people at the desk when a patron came up to me to say that one of the rowdy kids at the computers had erased the entire file she was working on. I don't know if I could've been or should've been more conscientious and faster and better with saying NO you cannot run in the library, drink energy drinks at the computers, sit on each other's laps, use someone else's card to get on the computer... so I feel really bad about it, but isn't the real issue that we have no security and no policy about unaccompanied minors?
Also, I'm not sure if all the kids are surfing gun-shopping web sites out of simple curiosity or in order to make me nervous or because they actually want to buy guns.
