owlectomyFor my next trick, I will lock myself out of the library I'm supposed to be opening.
By myself.
Because no one else is coming until 4:00. (Which, yeah, means I have to eat my banana at the desk and won't get lunch until 4:00. It was an emergency, and besides? Wiscon. No little thing like hunger is gonna bring me down).
Luckily, the woman who comes to pick up and deliver new books and requests always comes at 9:30, and we don't open till 10:00, which is plenty of time to do the library-opening stuff (or I wouldn't be on Livejournal), so the worst of it was that I had to sit in the sun for half an hour reading the real estate magazine.
