The math is still not working out too much in my favor but I'm starting to feel better about this; starting to feel confident, at least, that if I don't get it done by mid-October it will be, at least, very close.

Another author I love and follow (Sharon Lee) just described this stage of the process as "In essence, this requires holding the Entire Book As It Exists in your head at once, along with the Entire Book As It Should Be — and rectifying them."

A daunting prospect indeed. I admire you for tackling it!
