owlectomyWhich is to say, I've finally found my theme! I was a bit lost at sea thematically because what I had been thinking of as the theme really only applies to about 40% of the whole.

Seems to me that Cassandra, Oliver, and Heather are all trying, in their own ways, to find a 'perfect offering' --as a confession, a tribute, an apology-- and all run up against the absolute impossibility of this. Hrm.
