I think the program tonight went well. Attendance was a very respectable six or so; the crowd was younger than I was expecting, which made the crafts a little too advanced, but at least I forewent the origami crane, which is always much, much harder than you expect it to be. Highlight was, "Have you heard this Chinese rap? It's tight!" I resisted the urge to be pedantic, just like I resisted it with the kid who pronounced "manga" with an "ang" like in "mango." Oh, and also, I got hugged. By a 7-year-old, so it's not creepy or anything.

Whew. My nerves are jangly like a '60s folk song, though.

m-w.com lists "MAN-guh" as the preferred/first pronunciation, IIRC. There's even a sound file. *wince* Anyway, good going!
