I was offered a job! I accepted the offer!

Part-time, professional, youth services.

So... I'll be living at home. Mmhmm. Well, it's not like it's going to cramp my love life, given that I don't have one.

So... I'll have to clear out of here really fast. I start on the 15th, the day after graduation.

I am so relieved. I have been so anxious about having too much education and too little experience, making me over-qualified for all the jobs I'm not under-qualified for. So anxious about celebrating a graduation that only meant that now I didn't have to go to school any more. That's not entirely my personal issues; I see so many smart people, qualified people, who deserve good jobs, having a hard time of things. And I know that this is largely arbitrary, largely about luck. But I am glad.

This is the job I posted about last week, asking for good thoughts, so I guess they worked. Thanks!

Oh, and tonight's Doctor Who is a darned good one. Can things get any better?

Well, living with my mother and sister is the down side, but all in all, I'll be better off money-wise than if I were making more but spending it all on rent and food. I get to be one of those parasite singles with the designer handbags and the endless shopping and the destroying society...
