Things are looking up on any number of fronts; hooray. I have a job interview this week, and it looks as if I'll be able to get my driver's license after all (thanks to my mother's great generosity--but also something of a practical necessity, since many jobs, hideously, require one to have a license. Okay, maybe the job involves driving the bookmobile...)
