It is very easy to see why those who can afford to do so, pay unfortunate grad students to do transcriptions for them. It's unbelievable how time-consuming they are, even considering that I can type about 80% as fast as I can talk, so that I can get about 20-30 words down before I have to stop, rewind, press 'play' again. It really, really, really adds up.
This is my spring break.
(While I'm whining: I don't like the way my voice sounds on tape. Well, nobody does).
