King County, CA wants to interview me, but I'd have to pay my own plane fair--yikes.
Good idea to fly out for an interview on one's own dime? Any thoughts? (I could do spring break in San Francisco. That would be fun. Not that I can afford it.)

Personal reference--these T-shirts are geekier than I am, but I want.

I would simply demand a phone interview, and say it's impossible for you to afford. It's the truth! They may even just fly you out, and heck! Free trip to San fran! Take a picture of the "Charmed" Manor for me while you're there? :-)
