The Stupid Overwhelms Me

owlectomyToday I spent five minutes arguing with the guy at the grocery store that I was buying not a bunch of carrots but one carrot. (The bunches of carrots were priced by quantity, $1.18 each, whereas the loose carrots were priced by the pound, and the argument saved me a whole dollar, but the loss of brain cells was definitely not worth it).
And now CNN is giggling about the fact that there is a seminar on "Sex and the City" at MIT. Shh, don't tell them that there's an anime class at McGill. I have to stop watching CNN. My outrage is permanently turned all the way up--if it's not the right wing nuts, it's the mangling of the English language.
