owlectomyIt's immensely troublesome to need to find 12 or 16 peer-reviewed empirical articles on a subject--do articles exist? Well, yes, but they're polemics rather than anything empirical, of course--and keep persevering in the conviction that they MUST exist SOMEWHERE only to start realizing, horribly, that if they exist at all my research skills aren't up to the task.
I can't just change my topic with two days left to do the assignment.
I don't need to find 12 or 16 articles in the next two days, but I DO need to have a topic firmly decided, and it needs to be a topic on which 12 to 16 articles exist.
