Not exactly a Cooking Fail, but: no counter space and trying to get ready for work very quickly while frying rice and parboiling green beans led to me pouring out half a bottle of soy sauce on the floor, and then trying to *clean up* the soy sauce while frying rice and parboiling green beans. Augh!

I find cats a great help in times of trial.

Not that they would necessarily help with half a bottle, but they do like salt. :)
