I am trying not to let the incompetence involved lead me to homicide.

Best case scenario, this'll be fixed this afternoon; more likely, it'll take a week. (The computer labs are deserted, at least, but they're not really open on the weekends until school starts).

Deep sympathy. Mine was briefly down this morning and I felt I'd lost a leg. How pathetic is that?

I lost my connection this morning for about an hour - and I found myself staring at the DSL modem waiting for that red light to turn green.
