Pirated *Chinese* manga? What language did you read the thing in? besides the fact that your user info suggests you weren't alive in the 70's...

Weird thing--I read "Song of the Wind and Trees" in Japanese, a couple years ago, but the mother of one of my friends found old Chinese pirated editions at a garage sale one day (what's truly weird is that this was in a white-bread conservative city that doesn't even have many Chinese immigrants). So she picked them up, and I borrowed them to see if I could practice my awful Chinese on them.
