Costume photojournalism: It Begins

We start with ten yars of red-pink silk, some lining, some interfacing... (I ordered so much silk, they sent it all in a roll!)

I'm really having problems getting screencaps to work, so Meaghan--you'll just have to trust me until I can get you some CD-Rs.

In some lights it's more red than pink, but I don't know anyone who knows enough about RoV to get picky about color values (especially since, as I said, every episode she wears a different color dress!)
