It's been two months and fifteen thousand words since I did the State of the Writer thing, so if you really care to know, Such Deliberate Disguises is at 61,000 words. And starting to wind down. But that's all right; my pacing is improving. A Pair of Wings was 62K even after the padding-rewrite, Festival barely longer. Shattered Jade got to 68K. So I have a feeling I'll get this one to 70 or 75K, and then maybe flesh it out a bit in rewrites... I do have the good feeling that I'm closing in on the end, and not just wandering aimlessly around.
