Reason for stopping It's laaaaaate.

Today's mishap at work, which again convinces me I'm eminently unsuited to this job: I brought the stapler down on my finger (we have a very large stapler, which works by foot-pedal, and has enough space under it to fit a hand, if you really were that stupid). I did not staple my finger. I missed by perhaps a quarter-inch. But I did bruise it something fierce.

The way those things snap down makes it seem like they have minds of their own. The hydraulic ones are simply evil. Hope it hasn't swollen too much and interfered with your writing.
