owlectomyThe city has agreed on a budget that includes approximately a $62 million restoration in funding to the libraries. Brooklyn Public Library was facing a $20 million budget cut; $17 million of that has been restored. I'm not sure whether they can absorb the rest of the cut without any layoffs, but this is so far from the worst case scenario.
This is REALLY GOOD. This is like REALLY EXPLETIVE-INFIX GOOD.
