Pick up the book nearest to you and turn to page 45. The first sentence explains your love life.

It's early morning, so I'm still in bed, but there are two books on my bed (which is fewer than usual): the closest is ABC Chinese-English Comprehensive Dictionary.

The first line:

But surely that explains less about my love life than the fact that I can reach a 1400-page Chinese dictionary without getting out of bed does.

The book nearest me is a mushroom guide, and page 45 has a picture of a mushroom called "Golden Trumpets."
