I think my oven is too hot (I KNOW my oven is too hot) and scrambled the eggs in my lemon bars.

No wait. The TOPS are scrambled and the middles are not set.

This is horrible. It was happening to me, too, and it turned out the lower element was broken and the top one was overcompensating. Life is much happier (and bread-baking is more frequent and successful) since the landlady finally got it fixed.
