26/8/13 10:44I am pretty amused when looking up information on a Libertarian mayoral candidate (of Minneapolis) reveals the posting,
I feel bad for being amused at this guy's misfortune. I mean, I think it's very important that people be empowered to participate in the political process, and I recognize that urban planning and availability of public transit can be real barriers to that participation.
Which is why I'm not a libertarian.
(I am unsurprised that nobody on the Libertarian Party of Minnesota facebook page volunteered to give him a ride.)
"Hello, my name is Christopher Clark. I'm running again as a Minneapolis mayoral candidate. Interested in participating in state party. I'd like to show up at the June 17th executive committee meeting. But I don't drive or own a car. I'm not sure how late buses go to and from Eden Prairie at this point. May I catch a ride with anyone going my way? Thank you!!!"
