Wednesday reading
13/3/13 15:17What I've just read:
The Flame Alphabet, Ben Marcus. Strange and ambitious, a very literary horror book, but as I continued reading it I just found it grimmer and grimmer and with increasingly less probability of a satisfying payoff.
Saga, Brian K. Vaughan, Fiona Staples. Combines shininess and grimness in a way that is occasionally disorienting, but this is just about as awesome as everyone has been telling me it is.
What I'm reading now: An old New Yorker.
What I'm reading next: Probably The Summer Prince by Alaya Dawn Johnson. But I will be putting a handful of books on my Kindle for the train trip.
