28/11/12 20:11I hate being catcalled, but I take a certain perverse pleasure in pedantically correcting people who call me "baby" ("Not for a LONG TIME"), "princess" ("Not that I'm aware of"), etc.
This morning somebody leaned out of his car to say "Good morning, sugar." I was striding quickly down the street to get to the subway, so I could've been out of his earshot by the time I said it, but I certainly turned a couple of heads saying loudly, and with little apparent context, "No, that's a molecule!"
And proceeded to think hard for the next several minutes about whether sugar was indeed a molecule. Well, sucrose is, anyway. Dude in car, you're welcome!
