New York Public Library's OPAC! I am disappoint!

I left two tabs full of books on "Nuclear Weapons -- Social Aspects -- United States" and "Atomic Bomb -- Social Aspects -- United States" open on my browser. And! I was so happy that I had found the subject headings that I was looking for! So I thought I would just leave the tabs open until I had time to get down to NYPL. The next day I looked, and my books were GONE. The page had refreshed back to the home screen.

Why would you design an OPAC that automatically refreshes back to the home screen? BPL's doesn't!

At least I remember my subject headings.

100 years

100 years ago today, 146 workers at the Triangle Waist Company were killed after a fire broke out. Owners had locked the exit doors and the fire escape led nowhere.
