New York Public Library's OPAC! I am disappoint!

I left two tabs full of books on "Nuclear Weapons -- Social Aspects -- United States" and "Atomic Bomb -- Social Aspects -- United States" open on my browser. And! I was so happy that I had found the subject headings that I was looking for! So I thought I would just leave the tabs open until I had time to get down to NYPL. The next day I looked, and my books were GONE. The page had refreshed back to the home screen.

Why would you design an OPAC that automatically refreshes back to the home screen? BPL's doesn't!

At least I remember my subject headings.

That is SO FRIGGING FRUSTRATING. OhioLINK's (and Job A's) does that after a few minutes of idleness. AUGH.

My university library does that, too. It makes me so irritable.

I hate it when that happens. The Univ of Hawaii library website does that too, and you lose your searches. Grrr..
