Oh, my netbook. My poor poor little netbook. The hinge -- oh dear.

Well, it has a one-year warranty, though I never registered it so I don't know if it's valid, so I'll call tech support sometime after I get back from the doctor, but they won't believe that I haven't been banging it all over the place. Really I haven't!

The build quality on HPs? Still sucks.

I have not owned an HP/Compaq computer yet that was worth the money that I paid for it. I would be kicking myself for not getting a Dell, except for that &*(^ing ad about how a tiny little Dell is great for tracking your daily calories.

The screws have come unscrewed from the hinge, and despite my skills in McGyvering it's nothing that I could manage to fix unless I had teeny tiny fingers.

But hopefully they will come through for me and fix the thing, being that it's still under warranty.
