These past couple days I've been feeling like I could take on the world and still have time for waffles. So I did what any reasonable person would do with that energy: I cleaned my room.

By which I mean that I finally got rid of the boxes that have been lying in the middle of my room since FEBRUARY. Uh, by "Got rid of," I mean stuffed under the bed. I am moving, sooner or later - hopefully sooner.

I am not a natural hoarder of anything but books, but the "But I might NEED that someday!" response is going in full force. I really, really, have to cull the books - I still have a few unpacked boxes in the closet. And even as I'm thinking that I look over the shelves and think, "But not that one! Not that one!" Well, yes, that one.

You know how some girls spend a lot of time planning their hypothetical future weddings? I spent a lot of time planning my hypothetical future home library. So I might keep just a few more books than I really need, or have space for. A girl's gotta have something to dream about.
