19/3/08 13:26I have realized what my problem is at work.
I'm the paladin.
Even I realize that paladins are hella annoying, and even I understand why, and I'm hardly Lawful Good in all contexts, but I keep finding myself saying things like, "But that's a perfectly reasonable rule!"

Have cleared off the dresser except for a few semi-neatly arranged necessities. Have devised a preliminary solution for the library on my bed. Step #2 is attacking the kitchen, which I won't do; I keep it clean already, because my roommates keep it clean. So I will attack the bathroom, and it needs to be attacked, because there's sawdust and splatters of wood finish left over from construction, still. The only thing that works on the wood finish is a combination of abrasive cleaner, very hot water, a sponge, and a putty knife. Kondo Koso would advise me to forget about it for the moment and move on, but I think I'll work at it for a little bit more.

My aunt and cousin are coming in to the city for a few days. Yay!
