(no subject)

This is an actual book at the Brooklyn Public Library, which of course I took home with me: Nana, winning at love! Overcoming Love Problems with Nana and Hachi. Yes; it's a self-help book based on the manga Nana. And it's by an actual psychologist. I am really enjoying Nana at the moment, actually, because it's all about girls moving to the big city for the first time and getting strange new roommates and so forth, and it has, I would say, more psychological realism than the average shoujo manga (not that that's a really high bar to clear).

You know, I'm not a sucker for self-help books, but I'm a sucker for the silly ones.

I'm only on page 19 right now, so I can't report if it's any good.
