It's unpacking books from boxes day!

The new library will not be open until May 8th, but I am going there in ten minutes, and I have been by to see it from the outside (I was in the area yesterday for storytime). It looks real nice. Cold and stark, like most of W. county's more recent libraries, but nicely spacious-- and we've got a new circulation desk.

Also I think it will be nice to get all the books in there as a fresh start, with all in proper order on the shelves.

I do still kind of feel like hiding under a chair, but my hook is #68 over here.

Much shelving today! I did picture books A through O, 23 boxes out of 36 picture book boxes. Tomorrow will be the rest of the alphabet and as many of the Easy Readers as I can do. And we are getting 8000 new books, I think, so there will be even more shelving to do when the new books come in on Monday. My back is achy and I do not like shelving.
