3/4/07 21:00The last time I took a vacation without relying on a bed provided by a family member was ... 2002. The last time I had a convention-experience-at-a-hotel was I think 2000. I have vacation days and a tax refund.
I think I'm going to WisCon. I'm going to take a couple days to think about this, specifically on figuring out transportation logistics (being too young to rent a car without giving them my firstborn child), but it's something I've wanted to do for a while and I can't see any reason why I shouldn't.
In other news, I got new shoes! From Zappos. These guys but in black, and yes, I did get the men's (because the women's don't run to big enough sizes) and that is just fine with me.
